What the AI consultation actually covers

A $24.99 consultation sounds like a sales call with a price tag on it. It is not, and the simplest way to show that is to write down exactly what happens between booking the call and reading the summary.
Before the call
You book through a short form: what the business is, what you use today, where the hours go, and what you would like handled first. We read it before we speak to you. That is the point of the form — we come to the call having already looked at your setup, so the forty-five minutes go on your business rather than on introductions.
The forty-five minutes
The call is an audit, in plain language. No slides, nothing to prepare, and no need to know anything about AI. We ask about the work itself — what comes in, what goes out, what gets done the same way every week — and about the tools you already have, because the answer is usually built on those rather than on something new.
- What you use today: the website platform, the inbox, the calendar, the spreadsheets, whatever software the business already lives in.
- Where the hours go: the enquiries, the follow-ups, the drafting, the scheduling, the admin that fills evenings.
- What you would hand off first if you could — and what you would never hand off at all.
By the end of the call we have a clear picture of your setup, your systems, and your goals: the raw material for the summary. If a question comes up that we cannot answer honestly on the spot, we say so and answer it in writing instead.
What you walk away with
Usually within three business days you receive a written AI opportunity summary. It says where AI fits in your business, what to build first and why, what each piece takes in effort, and it carries a fixed quote for the work it recommends. It is written the way the call was: plainly, for you, without a glossary.
Yours to keep whether or not you go ahead.
Read it, sit on it, or send it to a partner. If you go ahead, we schedule the build. If not, the summary is still yours and there is nothing further to pay. The consultation is the only step with a price on it before a quote exists; everything after it is quoted per scope, as a fixed number, before it starts.
What it is not
It is not a pitch. We do not spend the call talking about ourselves, and we do not quote a build the summary cannot justify. If the audit finds nothing worth building right now, the summary says that too. You have paid $24.99 for an honest look at your setup, and we would rather tell you that on the call than sell you something you do not need.
It is also not a generic report. Two businesses in the same trade have different tools, different bottlenecks, and a different appetite for change. The summary is written for the one we spoke to, and it reads like it.
What to do next
If you already know AI could help and do not have the hours to work out how, the consultation is the first step: one call, one written plan, and a number you can decide against. Book it, tell us about your business, and pick a time. We take it from there.
